Cookie Policy
Last updated 31 July 2026
Cookies are small files a site stores on your device. Some are needed for the site to work at all; the rest are a choice, and this page sets out exactly what that choice covers.
Your choice
The first time you visit we ask what you're happy with. Until you answer, nothing but the essentials runs — no analytics, no video embeds, nothing loaded from a third party that stores anything on your device.
You can change your mind whenever you like using the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page. Declining costs you nothing except the videos, and those still show a still image in place.
What we use
| Cookie | Set by | What it does | How long | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| st_consent | Studio Tigris (first party) | Remembers your cookie choice so you aren't asked on every page. | 12 months | Essential |
| _ga | Google (third party) | Distinguishes one visitor from another so page views can be counted. | 2 years | Analytics |
| _ga_* | Google (third party) | Holds session state for the specific Analytics property. | 2 years | Analytics |
| Video player cookies | Our video host (third party) | Set by the embedded player to measure playback. Only ever set once you allow video. | Set by the host | Video |
We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and there are no social media cookies on this site.
The third parties
Two of the categories above hand data to someone else, so it's worth reading what they do with it:
- Google Analytics — Google's privacy policy
- Video — our video host's privacy policy
Browser controls
Every browser can block or clear cookies, and you're welcome to use that as well. It isn't a substitute for the choice above, though — our banner is what actually stops third-party code loading in the first place, and blocking cookies at the browser will break parts of most sites you visit, not just ours.
More detail
The Privacy Policy covers what happens to personal data more broadly, including your rights over it and how to complain.
Changes
If we add anything that stores data on your device, it goes in the table above and we ask for your choice again rather than relying on the old one.
